Man ki Baatein… by Saurabh Ahuja
I am a Poet, Photographer, Editor, Dialogue writer, Film writer, Director and above all a Documentary filmmaker. I love doing social work and making social films which gives good messages to the society. Firstly, my script “3 Warriors” synopsis selected in the Vidhu Vinod Chopra Production house contest through Talenthouse.com. I was not the winner that time but my film “3 warriors” was in top 20 in whole India. I also won a certificate from IMFF 2016 film festival as my film “The whistle” being selected in the top 5% films of the contest after competing with 1200 films, 7 countries, 65 cities, 30 Winners and recently won the silver eye award (Trophy and certificate) for Jingle “Mann ki baatein” in “Antardrishti creative contest 2016”. I recently made a horror flick “The ladder between Life and death” and is currently running in a big contest and in a selection period on Talenthouse.com.
It’s a great and lovely experience participating in “Antardrishti creative contest 2016”. I always come forward for a social cause. Antardrishti is a big organization who stands with the blind and visually impaired persons. I salute this organization that they are doing a brilliant job by supporting the blind persons and helping them to bring lights to their lives. When I heard about this creative contest and participated in audio jingle contest, I just thought what a blind person feels and portrait their feelings in my jingle “Mann ki baatein”. Through this contest, we want to show the world and distribute the message that please come forward and help these persons so that they can see this beautiful world with a beautiful smile on their faces.
I won this contest. I am very happy but even if I was not considered as a winner, the feeling would be the same. Thank you very much for considering me as a winner of Silver eye award in audio jingle category for “Mann ki baatein”. I am honoured.

5 Million people are waiting for Eye Donation.
5 Million people, whose live could be enlightened only by the cornea through eye donation. However, it is not very hard to get cornea through eye donation, the only thing required is to make efforts to develop awareness among people in this direction.
Drishti Creative Contest (http://drishti.org.in)
Every year antardrishti under the name “Drishti”, organise creative contest to promote eye donation in four category (Short Films, Posters, Design, and Audio Jingles).
Antardrishti – a social development organisation is committed to the cause of blind people in our society. Towards this we had made a humble beginning in 2006. It is registered as a Public Charitable Trust under Indian Trust Act, 1882. In our country, after the so long time after Independence still people are suffering from blindness due to lack of proper information and treatment. In similar way the person who becomes blind or losses his eyesight is not able to connect himself with the main stream of society due to lack of proper information and encouragement. Antardrishti stand with #Eye Care, #Eye Donation and Empowerment of #Visually Impaired.
Need of the hour is to raise awareness level of the society towards eye care, eye donation and empowerment of blind people.
